Coxing is such an important part of any rowing club and people with coxing skills are always in high demand.

If you have good leadership skills, great communication techniques and the ability to remain calm under pressure then coxing might be your way of participating in the great sport of rowing.

For clubs where coxes are in short supply, rowers who are able to steer boats are like gold dust.

Both coxing and steering require a whole raft of skills and this online introduction to both disciplines is a great way to learn more about what is required of these roles.

Anyone completely new to coxing or steering.
