Supporting and developing rowing competitions will form a significant part of our new Whole Sport Plan and, to that end, British Rowing now has a member of its Product and Insight Development Team dealing specifically with competitions and liaising closely with the National Competition Committee.

Jeff Elms is the new British Rowing Competitions Projects Officer, and people looking to develop their events are encouraged to contact him by phone (01205 356950) or by email (jeff.elms@britishrowing.org).

“In short, we are looking to offer guidance and support for those organising competitions,” said Rich Stock, British Rowing’s Head of Insight and Product Development. “We want to help our events provide a great experience for competitors, share all the good practice that’s out there and support innovation in this area.”
