Evesham Regatta 2011 took place over the sunny bank holiday weekend. Adaptive events were part of the sprint regatta programme, with athletes from Evesham, Stratford upon Avon and Cotswold Rowing Club competing in the Men’s LTA 1x and Mixed LTA 2x event.

Jon Phipps (Evesham) won the Men’s LTA 1x event by two lengths and Scott Ballard Ridley (Evesham) won the Mixed LTA 2x easily. The sponsor of both Adaptive events was Indy, Indy offers mobility and daily living aids for people of all ages and abilities.

The regatta was a huge success and the Royal wedding mixed fours sprint was an event to watch with the ladies wearing their polished tiaras and the gentleman dusting down their top hats and bow ties.

The adaptive boats used at the event were Swift adaptive /recreational singles and doubles from Worcester Rowing Club and Evesham Rowing Club.
