BUCS Indoor Rowing Championships

An exciting new series of regional indoor rowing events for colleges and universities opens in Edinburgh and London on Sunday 28th November.  BUCS points will be awarded with medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.  Competitions will run over two weeks between 28th November and 12th December.

Contacts and further information from the BUCS website and as details are still being finalised please check from time to time.  One change to published dates is that on 12th December the competition will be at Chester University rowing@chestersu.com.

British Rowing Almanack

Here’s another ‘first’! In next year’s 150th anniversary edition of rowing’s annual book of records, the results of BUCS events will be included for the first time in the Universities section. 

You can pre-order a copy at the discounted membership rates here.  There is an additional discount for those ordering before 31st January, 2011.

Entry secretaries might like to note that the opening date for entries for this event is Tuesday 7th December – don’t miss out!  Sponsored by PriceWaterhouseCoopers the 2011 Head will take place in Peterborough on the River Nene.
