Robin is pictured receiving his award at the Awards Dinner from Olympic gold medallist Ben Hunt-Davis, MBE. The Eastern Region put Robin forward because of his ongoing loyalty, dedication and commitment to his club which opened in 1989. ADVERT Ben Hunt-Davis went on to entertain his audience by relating how a history of failure to meet his rowing goals prompted him to keep trying until he reached the Sydney Olympics and the ultimate prize of a gold medal. Ben is Chairman of the World Rowing Junior Championships 2011 and a Project Manager with the British Olympic Association. ADVERT
