Olympic Rower is Oxfordshire’s Sportsman of the Year

Olympic rower Steve Williams, MBE was announced as Sportsman of the Year 2008 at the Oxfordshire Sports Awards ceremony, which took place at the Kassam Stadium on Friday 7th November. 

City of Oxford Rowing Club’s Junior Women’s Coxless Four were the winners of the Junior Sports Team of the Year, sponsored by Oxford City Council Leisure Services.
